Annual Book Sale

Friday April 17th -- Special Friends Reception and Early Buying Opportunity, 5:30-7:30

Saturday, April 18th -- 9:00-4:00

Sunday, April 19th -- 1:00-4:00

Still plenty of time to donate items and/or to volunteer to help with the sale!

Friends Contributions

Thanks to your membership dues and the annual book sale, the Friends of the Wayne Public Library have greatly aided the library in the past year. Here's how your contributions were spent:

• Grant to library staff to attend a national meeting
• Purchasing a Library People Counter
• Reading Corner Furniture and remodeling
• Summer Reading Program (advertising & entertainer)
• Spanish class for staff member
• Speaker for March 2009
• Flowers and equipment (mulch, soil, hoses, reel, etc.) for library grounds
• Staff birthday recognition
• Food/Supplies for events (Chamber Coffee; Christmas Storyhours)
• Storage containers for seasonal decorations
